caps in spp board

I asked for 1000 uF 50 V in my local electronics store (maplin) and they reccommended that I go with 1000uf 63v caps. Is it ok to use the 63v cap as opposed to using the 50v cap? The go inline with the output tubes to feed the OPT.
Also can I use 270pF 500v cap for feedback?
Any help much appreciated.

63 WVDC is a standard voltage rating for electrolytics. If your application calls for 50 WVDC you can subsitute 63 WVDC if you cant find the 50. The cost is proly a bit higher but other than that you should have no trouble.
As to the feedback cap, 500VDC is also a standard voltage for silver mica caps and should work fine. I wouldn't use a ceramic disk though.

You can always go with higher rated caps - no problem there. But note that the 270pF value is wrong - it needs to be 27pF.
