Right, but is there any one of these magic eye types that I could simply swap out for the 12DW7/7247/ECC832?

No, the types of dual triodes you refer to and magic eye tubes are not enter-changeable in service application. You can add a magic eye tube to a device that otherwise does not have one, to (say) indicate when peak power output has been reached, but magic eye tubes cannot simply be installed in place of existing tubes that are already part of the originally design.

Those are power tubes only. Eye tubes are like a meter, they can be used to indicate signal strength etc. You also have rectifier tubes to convert AC to DC. The ST-35 uses SS (solid state) diodes instead. The preamp/driver tubes also amplify, but a much smaller amount.
