Hi Guys...
I started stuffing / soldering the fixed resistors for my ST-35 (Rev. D) board.
I am at the point where I need to decide about the choke wiring.
On page 16 of the Rev D manual, I see the wiring for a choke setup, but what is confusing is D1 and D2 are not installed but a single jumper is in place of D1.
My first question is, don't I need the diodes for rectification? I am guessing I do since I am not using a tube rectifier.
I think I understand that if I want to use the choke, I would not install R34 and R35 (choke would wire in the two "extra" positions between them). Additionally, I would not install R36 and R37 but would use jumpers (cut leads) in these two positions instead.
Am I on target here? or way off-base.
Thanks....
Scott
p.s. I may have a few more questions as I get a little further along.
