Power suply caps are too tall

Postby justinsweber » Wed Feb 10, 2010 1:14 pm

Power suply caps are too tall... make the chassis deformed... pushes the bottom out. What to do?

Guys my caps I got are fromt he BOM, they are too tall for the triode electronics chassis... Is the a sub that is not as tall?
The holes on the chassis dont allow for the tube sockets to go through... thus I can get it up in the chassis more.. I need the caps to just be smaller.

Anyone else having this issue?

Thank you,

Justin

Try shorter standoffs.

Seriously - replace the cap cans with ones of acceptable height.
