grid stopper resistors?

Postby justinsweber » Tue Jan 05, 2010 2:59 am

I have my new PCB here.. I went looking at some of the pics others have posted and noticed no grid stopper resistors... I was told this should be included for my ST70... no so with the ST35? Just some clairification... needed? what size resistor? and reason to use or not use?

Thanx again... hope everyones holiday was great.

The DIY35 board does not use grid stoppers. Neither did the original ST35 circuit.

I always prefer to use grid stoppers.

Some tubes like to make RF... especially Russian production ones. The stopper plays with Cmiller to create *just* enough of a LPF to kill most oscillations.

Cheers!

Fine wine comes in glass bottles, not plastic sacks. Therefore the finer electrons are also found in glass bottles.
