Rev D resistor change

Postby DortoH » Sat Sep 04, 2004 12:26 pm

2 R36,R37 .05, 3W 71-LVR3-0.05/R

Note: Use the 0.025 ohm instead when using a PA774 – Mouser# 71-LVR3-0.025/R

Would this resistor change apply to those using the Hammond 272HX power transformer?

No. The stock values are for the 272HX. Its filaments run a little higher than the PA774. These are just dropping resistors.

What effect would using 0.1R resistors like specified in the Rev C with a 272HX?

I mistakenly ordered off the Rev C list.but am expecting a Rev D board.

I really don't to order just a pair of resistors right away. If I can get away with the 0.1R I would until I make my next order.

Use one in R37 and jumper R36 with wire.

With my PA774, I have two .1 ohm resistors paralleled in R37 and R36 jumpered. This will work fine.
