Hi -

I doubt anyone can hear a difference. The new ones
are made very similarly to the originals, with better
wire, etc that wasn't available then.

The Triode Electronics PA774s and Z565s are near-exact replicas of the original Dynaco parts. Better internal insulation, teflon insulated wire leads. THey are as good, if not better.

They even use the same "specialized" winding schemes that Dynaco used.

Note that the new-production Z565s have taps for 4 and 8 ohms rather than 8 and 16 ohms like the originals. Don't know what speakers you would be driving but this could be a consideration.

The diytube ST-35 board is a nice way to go - very well
designed, rugged board, great sound. You could reproduce
the original Dynaco ST-35 amp, either hand wired or buy
some circuit boards on eBay, but it's a lot more work.
