Here is an interesting ST 35 deal on ebay. Looks like it has original dynaco transformers onboard. Also has the stainless triode chassis. Definitely worth the $235.00

Auction says it's "unfinished". I'm always nervous when the conversation turns to "I'm selling it for a friend". It's odd to see that disclosed during the actual auction - usually you don't find out about the "friend" until it's been weeks (months?) after the auction closed and you still haven't received the package. Top page of the seller's feedback contains a few less than stellar comments.

Still, it does seem to be a very good price. Transformers appear to be original Dynaco iron, probably salvaged off a dead SCA35 or ST35. Nice looking box caps on the board.

I wound up buying that ST-35 for $ 150. The transformers
are Dynaco, Triode stainless steel chassis, rev D board.
The board needs to be cleaned up, the soldering is bad,
and I need to move the trimpots from the top of the
board to the bottom. I cleaned it up and remounted
the transformers with good hardware and Heyco grommets
in the wire holes, put in a new fuseholder, power switch
and good RCA jacks. I hope it will come up nicely.
I need to order some binding posts from Mouser too.
If the transformers are OK, it's a steal. Tubes weren't
included, but I have plenty.

Update -

My speaker binding posts came in from Mouser today,
so I finished the amp up.

Cleaned up the wiring mess, cleaned up the PCB and
moved the bias and feedback pots to the accessible
side of the board. New hardware, power switch, proper
spacers, etc.

Preset the pots and turned it on.
Low volume, but no smoke.

Looked at the schematic, starting at the input - the
47K series and 470k shunt resistors were backward!

Sounds good now ... I'll test it on the equipment and
tweak the bias later.

I love my ST-35. Of course I love all my amps so they all get pretty equal time on the rack playing music.

This one is a keeper Ed .... I built and sold a couple of the
stainless steel ST-35s and am sorry I didn't keep one,
can't beat the deal on this one so it's staying here.

I just had to hustle the 60 pound monster 300B outta
the way to audition this one - sounds amazing !
