for the DIY ST35, the Dynakit and every other PP EL84

So, what is the purpose behind R36 & R37

Just curious as the original Dyna circuit doesn't include these two .025, 3W resistors on the heater leads. They don't include R40 & R41 either, but I know that those are designed to reduce ripple current (at least I think that's what I was told once).

They're in the circuit just to drop the filament voltage slightly , around 0.2 VAC. Depending on your local AC line voltage, these may not be necessary, I generally use wire jumpers in their place.

Tube filaments generally have a +/- 10% voltage tolerance, so this isn't a real problem.
