Hi All,
Gary, that might be me. I developed and put into limited production an amplifier using 6BQ5s. The output transformer is based on the Z-565, but has more laminations and is wound for 4 and 8 ohms. When I found this website, I decided that I'd offer the transformers to anyone interested; don't think I'm gonna be dealing with a lot of corporate competition here!
There's a thread labelled DIY35/TAL 1773 Comparisons in which I'm going to be comparing Shannon's stock design with my admittedly expensive counterpart. Then we'll start mixing trannies, both power and output, and just have a good old time. Stay tuned.
