MOV? Cap? Resistor? Huh?

Many of you received some freebie Keystone CL50 inrush current limiters along with your kit (which are not necessarily for this project). These are very handy for dropping high filament voltage. Their current limit is 5A. Checkout the datasheet:

These might come in handy for dropping the filament voltage in the little SV83 SE amps I built up. The Hammond 272FX really lights up the 6N1P and SV83s pretty bright, I suspect they are getting excessive voltage. The 5Y3GT seems a little less "overjuiced" in this regard.
