Hi, I've got a few pics of my amp so far...

I'm just waiting on the tubes and transformers.

Looking good, JG. Are those Auricaps?

BTW, I see screws in those pictures - how are you mounting the amp in the chassis?

Yes , they are auri caps. I mounted them on the top of the pcboard (bending the leads under the caps). I'll be stuffing this in the 12x8x3 aluminum chassis. I'm waiting for my JJ tubes and Dynaquest output transformers , and the Dynaco PA774 from NED (Triode Electronics) (plus gold ceramic sockets).

I'll have to put some lock washer between the screws and those mounting poles.

Oh, ya, a few questions. How much hookup wire do I need?

TIA,
JG

cool...

Good. I was worried that you were mounting the PCB upside-down on the top of the chassis for sec.

The Magnequest outputs and Ned's PA-774 will have plenty of lead length. As far as from the RCA to the input, you could almost get away with less than a foot if you place the inputs on the front. Otherwise just measure from where you want your RCA jacks. Oh yeah, you will also need a short jumper wire going from the speakers' black terminal connectors to the PCB ground. A foot of black wire would suffice. This is an easy one to forget.

Have spare fuses handy and good luck!
